Praxis: Systemic design in the field

SDApractice

With the Relating Systems Thinking and Design symposium reaching a milestone of over 1000 participants, there is evidence of a growing community of designers committed to advancing systemic design, sharing research, and mobilising knowledge. The Systemic Design Association provides a platform for this global community of systemic design practitioners, focused on designing for complexity in real-world contexts. The association’s ethos is inclusive, supported by the contributions of members who provide their time and financial resources. Through this network, SDA offers a platform to optimise structures and supportive connections. Established activities such as the annual RSD symposium, online convenings, and collaborations with adjacent communities aim to share knowledge, encourage transdisciplinary approaches, and support the development of new leadership within the field.
