1993
Work on our core technology begins at the University of Florida. Initial studies involve the manufacture of synthetic trachea models to replace live animals in airway device testing and the development of inter-penetrating polymer-fiber networks to mimic lumenal structures such as vessels. The materials developed are now used extensively in the industry as simple vein and arterty analogs.
2004
SynDaver Labs is founded in 2004 to commercialize a novel system of synthetic human body parts for the medical device industry.
2019
SynDaverX is spun off of SynDaver Labs in 2019 to focus on SynDaver’s medical device customers and their need for custom engineered solutions.
2020
SynDaver EDU is spun off of SynDaver Labs in 2020 to service the education market including 2 and 4 year colleges and universities, K-12 education and other educational institutions with a line of standard SynDaver product offerings.
TODAY
SynDaverX and SynDaver EDU, subsidiaries of SynDaver Labs, Inc., reside next door to one another and share resources, research and technology to make key advancements in synthetic tissue technology and its application in device testing and education. SynDaver currently holds 16 patents in our growing patent library.
