Humanitarian Principles
Our organization fully adheres to the four humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence in all aspects of our operations. We are committed to providing assistance based solely on need, without discrimination and without influence from political, military, or other non-humanitarian objectives.
Humanity: We are committed to alleviating human suffering wherever it is found. For instance, our programs in [e.g., along Thailand-Myanmar Border, conflict-affected areas, or disaster zones] focus on addressing urgent protection, health, and psychosocial support needs among the most vulnerable populations, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation.
Neutrality: We do not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political, religious, or ideological nature. Our communications and public statements are strictly focused on humanitarian needs and response, and we maintain a neutral posture in all stakeholder engagements.
Impartiality: Our beneficiary selection process is based on thorough needs assessments and vulnerability criteria, ensuring aid is distributed fairly and without bias.
Independence: We maintain full operational independence. Our funding sources and partnerships are vetted to ensure there is no conflict with our humanitarian mission. We do not allow authorities or other actors to interfere with the selection of beneficiaries, vendors, or staff.
