On January 20, 2026, Singapore’s National Environment Agency (NEA) issued a circular regarding the implementation of the Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS) Producer Transition Grant. To support industry stakeholders in adapting to new recycling mandates, the NEA introduced a grant providing up to SGD 2,500 per registered producer. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial and logistical impacts of the transition, particularly for importers and smaller producers, with the grant validity extending until September 30, 2027.
