This feature is only available through business plans.
Continuous Recording (CR) is a mode of operation that allows for 24x7 recording of all video footage captured by your camera. This is different from Event Triggered or motion events that captures video or images only when the motion detection is triggered by the camera.
How does CR work?
CR creates a connection from your camera to our cloud servers and will record video 24x7. You can switch your camera from Event Triggered by editing your camera and selecting "Continuous Recording". Double-check your settings and hit "Save". Now your camera will constantly record video.

What cameras are supported?
Any camera that has a valid RTSP stream. That amounts to pretty much any type of camera.
Will I still get motion events?
Yes. Event Triggered motion will still be configured on the camera to ensure you are notified when there's a motion event. Events will be marked with dark blue blocks on the Timeline. Motion alerts can also be disabled with our Schedule feature. Please note that for any Generic camera type, it will still require additional setup of sending events to our FTP. Additional details can be found here.
How much bandwidth do I need?
Bandwidth is an important consideration when using CR. You will require sufficient upload bandwidth to ensure a constant stream of video data can be transferred from the camera to our cloud servers. Please see this article for details.
