Hello, I'm back from China!

I went to the world expo and went to climb a lot of mountains, resulting in fabulous new leg muscles (lies), reduced appetite (a pity), a fever, mosquito bites, barfing everywhere, and something I don't really want to mention but has to do with what happens at the end of your intestines.

Overall it was an okay trip. Good things included, food, cheap food, street food, cheap art supplies, relatives spoiling me, my somewhat adorable cousins, the world cup, beautiful landscapes, and did I mention food? Bad things included the aforementioned health problems, great firewall of china, polluted air in the big cities, psychotic drivers, the language barrier, the temperature/humidity, rather discourteous behavior (people pushed and shoved like crazy, wtf), spitting on sidewalks and making those gross guttural noises...

Anyways, I did a lot of drawing at the airports/during downtime (I took like 7 flights during my entire trip augh), but most of them are pretty scribbly since the sketchbook had horrible paper loool, I-I'm serious the paper did not feel food at all. A-ahem anyways, sorry if it destrys your eyes/brain o-or something. There is at least one that is terrifying.

GUYS I'm in CHINA. Insane right?
too bad facebook and tumblr are both blocked! MY LIFE. Bawww, okay just a hello to the internet. I'll be in china for 3 weeks so be ready for a huge photo dump afterwards. I'm in shanghai right now and I'm going to the EXPO today!

Sorry I've been almost dead on LJ/DA these days. It's midterms season (it's always midterms season at UCs) and I'm just being bombarded by a lot of stuff this quarter. I have 3 letters to reply to and I really hope that I'll be able to get to them after Sunday. I'm dawdling a lot on tumblr recently in my spare time (hah). I post up sketches there frequently so feel free to follow and what have you.

I did something this week aside from laze around and play video games and hang out with friends and eat crepes, creme brulee, and theater candy.

Movie maker is a real pain to work with, but unfortunately, I'm not equipped with any other video sequence software. And now I will sleep because it is 2 AM.
