SUPER provides research-based alcohol and drug prevention education, early intervention services, recovery support and harm reduction programs for the Stanford community via peer educators and professional staff. Our goal is to mitigate high-risk alcohol and other drug usage and their related harms among Stanford students by utilizing health promotion and public health principles through collaborative, cutting-edge, empirically proven educational strategies and outreach programs.

SUPER offers free, private, short-term support to members of the Stanford student community, providing a range of educational resources on substance use, including alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, and other substances. We are committed to helping you make informed choices, whether you're seeking to learn more about substance use, explore harm reduction strategies, or address your own substance-related concerns.

Harm Reduction Tools Program
“A set of practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use” - National Harm Reduction Coalition. The spirit of harm reduction is meeting individuals wherever they fall along the spectrum of substance use, recognizing that our relationship to substances is neither linear nor stagnant. SUPER aims to provide harm reduction tools tailored to our community in line with our larger harm reduction approach which includes 5-SURE Safe Rides, 5-SURE on Foot, Cardinal Recovery and The PEERs.
