The Sunshine Mine is supported by substantial installed infrastructure, including shafts, hoists, substations, water management systems, pumping stations, underground rail, compressed air, water and communications systems. Since acquiring the Sunshine Complex in 2010, Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining Company has invested over $200 million to expand its land position, upgrade infrastructure and advance the site toward a planned return to production.

This existing infrastructure provides an important foundation for the Company’s restart plan. As Sunshine advances toward its targeted return to production in 2028, the Company continues to evaluate, maintain and modernize key systems to support safe, responsible and efficient future operations.
