About
Yes, I’m obsessed with pasta, and I suppose, all Italian food. Like so many others, my Italian grandmothers taught me to cook and encouraged me to keep our family traditions alive. But more importantly, they showed me that food is the most basic way to spread love. And that’s what Sunday Pasta® is all about!
I started my Sunday Pasta® blog back in 2009 as a fun way to stay in touch with friends and family while also promoting authentic and healthy Italian recipes. I have since prepared and shared hundreds or recipes and wine pairings. I am amazed (and very proud) of the number of readers who have since shared their own experiences, from cooking together with friends and family, to voting on their favorites, to gifting the beautiful Sunday Pasta® cookbook for weddings and birthdays.
So welcome to Sunday Pasta® – my way of sharing my passion for friends, family, healthy food, and togetherness. I invite you to share your own recipes, memories, and stories – and to make even better, new ones!
Please also visit Garrubbo.com for more information about my second book, Garrubbo Guide: The Importance of Eating Italian and Garrubbo Guide® food tours.
Buon appetito e buon viaggio!

Our Mission
With Sunday Pasta®, we strive to provide the very best authentic pasta recipes and wine pairings. Some of the recipes come from family and friends, while many come from Italian chefs and restaurants in Italy and around the world.
We are a community of people who are passionate about la cucina italiana. Whether you are just discovering its magic or have been weaned on it since birth, learning about Italian food should never stop. “Studiare sempre,” my nonno used to say — always study.

Italian food has the power to bring people together, rich and poor, family and friends, Italians and non-Italians; Italian food makes people forget themselves and escape into the experience — into the convivialitá, into the sharing. This magic is Italy’s gift to the world. We intend to promote and preserve this gift for generations to come.

I invite you to join us on the journey and to be part of our mission. Share recipes, tell stories, and recommend good restaurants, recount the memories that tie you to the past and take you to the future.
Benvenuti e Buon Appetito!
