View as we walk or hike CFFC

I was spoilt for choice with this week’s topic from Dan Antion for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge (CFFC). Walking is one of my regular activities. I have chosen two photos from a walk with a friend in February. One is a scene, with young trees in the foreground. It was taken from a plantation of trees. This view is going to be obscured as the trees grow.

The second photo is of a small wood in the same area. The sunlight caught my attention.

In the foreground there are leafless tops of saplings. A railway line crosses the scene at an angle. In the middle fields have some trees and walls. There are more woods in front of bluish hills with white cumulus clouds forming behind then and pale blue sky with cumulo-stratus clouds.

Taken from public transport(ation) CFFC

I looked through my archives to find a photo for the latest challenge from Dan Antion for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. In the UK we say public transport, but the US version is transportation.

I have chosen a photo which demonstrates the difficulty of taking photos through glass at sunset. I rather like the reflections of the lights, information sign and luggage racks inside the train.

Tomorrow is 1st April, when the Blogging from A to Z in April Challenge begins. I’ll by participating on Sue’s Trifles.

View from something on water

This week the topic for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge is a view from something on water. Dan Antion’s selection of his own photos reminded me of a boat trip hubby and I enjoyed in 2019. I am posting a photo, which has already appeared on this blog. If you have time, do click through to the original post about a boat trip round the Farne Islands. It includes pictures of dolphins.
