STROPS Technologies is a European technology company focused on simplifying the deployment of modern surveillance and traffic enforcement infrastructure. Since 2015, the company has been developing practical, field-proven solutions that enable cities and infrastructure operators to deploy monitoring systems faster, more flexibly, and with significantly reduced installation complexity.

The company’s first product line, STROPS AVS, introduced rapid-deployable mobile CCTV systems that operate independently of fixed infrastructure. Designed for flexible use in urban environments, these systems can be installed on existing structures such as lighting poles or trees and powered by swappable batteries, enabling continuous operation for up to a week without interruption.

Building on this foundation, STROPS MR extends the concept to autonomous mobile speed monitoring, providing radar-based traffic enforcement that can operate reliably without onsite supervision.

To further simplify infrastructure deployment, STROPS developed enerbooost®, an assembly-free power solution that enables cameras and sensors to operate using existing urban lighting networks. This approach significantly reduces deployment time, installation cost, and infrastructure requirements.

Today, STROPS Technologies continues to support cities, infrastructure operators, and security integrators with scalable technologies that make modern monitoring and enforcement systems faster and easier to deploy.

The whole concept came about when working as systems integrators at an internationally known development company. We identified early that there were vulnerabilities in existing surveillance solutions. A key component was missing from the equation: a battery powered, high precision, easily sited and re-sited video camera that could be seamlessly integrated into a broad-based surveillance system.

So we set about designing one, and establish STROPS Technologies to focus on R&D and the manufacturing of new-technology solutions for the security industry. Development and testing of our first product – STROPS AVS – took over two years, and in late 2015 we introduced the ground-breaking innovation to the market.

Having met with enthusiastic applause from the industry, we are expanding our global partner network and will make the STROPS AVS – together with future technologically-advanced products – available to systems integrators around the world.
