Project Ricochet, Inc.

Turning Obstacles into Opportunities for Minority Youth.

Our mission is to establish and maintain an ongoing and effective coalition of parents, grandparents, youth service providers, civic and community leaders and faith-based leaders to incorporate a “bottom-up” approach to intervention and other issues related to the reduction of minority youth into the criminal justice system.

Who we are

WE establish and sustain a dedicated team of community development professionals who remain actively engaged in local communities, providing ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to youth involved in anti-social or criminal activities.

What we do

WE provide tangible pathways for at-risk youth to redirect their focus towards economic opportunities, achieved through youth-led entrepreneurial initiatives, innovative apprenticeships, job placements in local businesses, and additional financial incentives for those demonstrating a commitment to transforming their lifestyles.

Where we work

WE engage in authentic interactions and meaningful communication with like-minded organizations and groups while also collaborating with government agencies to secure additional resources in support of our mission.

Project Ricochet, Inc. is a 501c3 community-based organization dedicated to seeking practical solutions that support minority youth at risk of anti-social behaviors while helping them explore positive and productive lifestyle alternatives.

Bet On You! Reclaim Your Power: A Public Awareness Campaign for Gambling Prevention and Mental Wellness Bet On You! is a community-driven campaign designed by Project Ricochet to empower individuals to make healthy, informed choices about gambling and self-care. The initiative focuses on raising awareness of problem gambling, reducing stigma, and promoting emotional resilience across Kentucky communities—especially among youth, veterans, and families. Through creative outreach, storytelling, and healing-centered education, Bet On You! encourages participants to “wager on wellness” by investing in their mental health, financial literacy, and personal growth. The campaign’s workshops, social media series, and art-based dialogues help participants recognize risk factors, explore alternatives to stress-related gambling, and build supportive networks that foster balance and belonging. Because the best bet you can ever make..is on yourself. Click the image for more information.
