How often do you walk or run?
Running! A tough nut to crack for me in early teen life,
A interesting story I wanna share ,,
Earlier I was told by practitioner that i don’t have enough curve in my feet , its kind of flat so i should not make it too much in running, but i tried all the possible ways to get that curve somewhat deeper,, and then i didn’t listen to anyone and continuing running everyday,,
And I took it as a challenge to overcome,, i ran almost everyday for 17 years thereafter,,
And being into calisthenics mostly,, it was a warm up for me but many times I took it too far , and brought a toll on my knees,,, one day I was running for 14 Km and suddenly I felt pain in my left knee but I didn’t stop and continuing striding to complete it,,, later on scans showed that cushioning in knees has been reduced, and I should switch to walk,,
Then I decided to run twice in a week and do my other calisthenics routine other days,,
So now I run not so often but whenever I run I do warm up properly, use knee bands and good shoes,, and walk other days,,
I think i should continue running often as it make me look better after I cross finish line and lie on the ground. Using good shoes and some knee bands really helps,
Fitness is a lonely journey one must endure,, and running should be a part of it,, its best cardio and yeah, whenever we feel discomfort, just improvise and continue by adjusting its frequency , BUT DON’T QUIT,,,
