Do you remember life before the internet?
As I was born in late 80’s , and internet has kind of revolutionised here in kind of 2010 onwards, so yeah! I remember life very clearly. After 3G only the internet was started being used rampantly. Before that it was 2G and watching one YouTube video was like waiting for it buffering for hours.
Before that, I used to write letters to convey my well beings to my loved ones. Aa i bought my first phone in 2008.
There were once in a week calling to home through STD & PCO booths.
Also not everyone had even basic mobile phone upto 2005-06, so sometimes we used to call the neighbours whenever someone from their relatives had been calling them upto late 90’s.
Internet usage was limited to cyber cafes, with hourly charges. Also no body was watching or making videos and reels and uploading on social media. So social interaction was limited to known people only.
But yeah ! I am from a generation who has seen the absolute evolution from level zero to level present. And also the one who has evolved with technology as we are also comfortable with usage and changes that has occured due to internet.
It was completely different era but with transition in few decades it seems not too behind if we have to think about it.
