Introduction

Welcome to StrathSpace Hack Day  powered by Google and Major League Hacking (MLH)!
This hackathon is all about creativity, community, and code. You have four days to build anything cool  from AI tools to creative web or mobile apps  and bring your ideas to life.

We’ll be celebrating innovation and fun, with a special Gemini Innovation Prize for the best project that uses the Google Gemini API in an exciting way.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced builder, this is your chance to hack, learn, and make something awesome with friends.

Tools and Technologies

You can use any tech stack of your choice  but here are some popular options and recommended tools:

  • AI & APIs: Google Gemini API (via Google AI Studio or REST)

  • Frontend: Next.js, React, Flutter, or Expo

  • Backend: Node.js, Supabase, Firebase, Python (FastAPI, Flask), or NeonDB

  • Version Control: Git + GitHub

  • Deployment: Vercel, Netlify, or Render

  • Collaboration: Discord, Google Meet, or Slack

You can also combine multiple tools or integrate third-party APIs — the goal is to build fast and showcase creativity!
