WARNING 2: i believe in using art properly credited and with permission. if you make a special request with me, DO NOT ASK for art that i'm not allowed to use. also, if i politely inform you somewhere that the art you're using isn't credited/isn't allowed to be used, do not get snotty. be gracious and take it down/fix it. thanks to the vast number of absolute idiots on the Internets, there are legal people hired by the artists (and especially the licensing companies) who spend their days being paid to search for violations. the next person you get snippy with may work for the legal team of an artist or licensing agency.
bottom line: respect the artists. i was grateful to those who taught me the ins and outs of art copyright. pass on the respect and do the same.
