Current Status & Billing

To begin with, we’ve restored temporary, limited access to store.speedtree.com. This means that if you have a subscription or purchases, you can now get in to access your software and, most importantly, your tree downloads. For the time being, however, no new purchases can be made.

Additionally, we want to assure you that we are not making any charges to active subscribers accounts for monthly subscriptions while we work through this transition.

The Move to Unity.com

To provide a more streamlined and integrated experience for everyone, we are officially moving speedtree.com to its new home at Unity.com. This is a change we’re very excited about, but it means that current SpeedTree logins will no longer work after Jan 1, 2026.

What You Need To Do (Please Read!)

Because we are moving to a new system, it is essential that users download and backup all of their purchased tree files before the cutoff date of Jan 1, 2026. After this date, they will no longer be accessible via the old account. To do this, please head to My Account > Downloads on the SpeedTree site.

If a user misses this cutoff date, they will need to contact us at support@speedtree.com so that we can assist them in downloading their files.

We know this process isn’t ideal, and we want to thank our active subscribers. If you are an active subscriber to SpeedTree Indie or SpeedTree Pro, or if you are a user of SpeedTree Library, an email has been sent to you with additional information.

If you are a new user looking to get set up during this transition period, here’s how to get up and running:

2. After installing, follow the instructions in the installer to request a license key.
