FINANCING + DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
- Acquire properties from public agencies as well as from the private market.
- Proposal writing & fund raising from public and private sources.
- Presentation to community members and major stakeholders.
- Preparation and execution of finance closing documents.
- Identification, negotiation, analysis of bids and management of qualified architects, engineers, general contractors, environmental firms, attorneys and other professionals.
- Prepare financing applications to public and private sources such as Local funds including HOME, CDBG, HTF, HOPWA, Commerce, HUD SHP, McKinney., State funds from State Housing Finance Agencies for Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Bond Financing, and other soft funds, DCED, and Commerce, and federal funds from HUD such as 202, GRRP, IRA funds and various private foundations, FHLB's , banks and CDFI's.
