My name is Gabi Pyron, and I am the president of the Board Game Club at Illinois State University. We have weekly meetings and typically have around 40 members who show up every week.
Right now, we have 44 games in our collection, but we are looking to expand so we can offer our members new games to try. Unfortunately, we do not get much funding, so we are unable to buy new games.
I wanted to reach out to see if you are open to working with ISU’s board game club, offering donations, discounts, or partnership opportunities. We would be happy to promote your games to our members and share feedback and reviews.
Thank you for your time and making awesome games!
Thanks Gabi! Feel free to check out this form: https://stonemaiergames.com/bipoc/
We have a collections of games to be played in the library and in 2024 we started a circulating game collection that we are slowly building. Our patrons have loved having games to take home to play! We would love to be able to add Wyrmspan and other games that you have!
Friends of the Yulee Library of Fl is starting game lending and the discount will help our funds go further.
Hi,
We have a small but growing tabeltop game collection at the Sanibel Public Library. We currently have Wingspan (it is a big hit) and would like to add a few of your other games to our collection. I can provide an up-to-date DR-14. Looking forward to your response!
Hello,
I am currently in the process of opening a board game library, however I am not 100% sure if it will have tax exempt status, but it wont be selling games it will just be providing them on site to be played. Is the tax exempt status 100% necessary to furnish the library at a discounted rate given that i’d probably only be looking at single copies of a lot of games? Absolutely fine if it is, I know 40% off is incredibly generous but I thought I would enquire anyway.
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Rod.
Thanks for asking! For this specific program, verified tax exempt status is needed.
Hello!
My name is Dana Bach and my husband Matt and I own and run Board Game Wagon in Omaha, Nebraska. We are a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization providing board games in a mobile library-type setting. We are similar to a typical board game cafe in that we have several games for guests to play but we come to you and your event as opposed to a brick-and-mortar store. We work with several board game conventions in Nebraska and Iowa. We also work with Mik and Starla Fitch of Our Family Plays Games as the board game library for their quarterly game nights. You may have heard them reference us on their show.
I’m contacting you today because we are hoping to build a relationship with Stonemaier Games to feature your new and upcoming games in our library. We are asking you to donate a copy of your latest games such as Stamp Swap, Rolling Realms, Expeditions, any recent expansions to any of your current games as well as any upcoming games so we can share them with gamers at various conventions and events. As you know, a board game library is a great way for gamers to try new games so they can make an informed decision about the games they will eventually purchase.
If you are willing to donate a few games, please reply to dana@boardgamewagon.com.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to your reply.
Sincerely,
Dana Bach
Board Game Wagon
Thanks for your note, Dana! Registered libraries are welcome to fill out the form on the above page to receive a discount on the games you would like to provide to your guests. Alternatively, we typically serve board game cafes (even those who don’t sell games) through our distributor, GTS. As you can see through our donations page (https://stonemaiergames.com/about/discounted-and-free-game-policy/), we don’t provide free games to convention libraries.
Wow, Omaha! That’s where I live, too! We’ll have to check out the Board Game Wagon if you’re still here!
That’s great, Amy! We’ll get back to you soon if you filled out the form. :)
