Question Time

The last / fourth Tuesday of the month, 6pm – 7.30pm in a local cafe -Ev, SE1 8DD.

Question Time is a monthly meet up to talk about some of the big questions of life and faith.

We’ll be exploring these questions from a Christian perspective using the Bible to navigate some of our thinking, but people of any faith and none are most welcome. We don’t assume to have the answer, but to give space for exploration and to learn and grow from one another.

Question time is run by our 20s and 30s group, but open to all!

We meet at Ev Cafe, SE1 8DD, 6pm – 7.30pm on the fourth or last Tuesday of the month. Contact Georgia for more information and to come along.

Upcoming dates:

  • Tuesday 23rd September – a discussion around Generous Faith podcast episode on Magic and Mystery
  • Tuesday 21st October
  • Tuesday 25th November

Space to Speak

I am so grateful to be a part of St John's and have space to have the conversation like the one we had this evening!
Theo Johnson
20s & 30s member, St John's Waterloo

St John’s Waterloo, the church on the IMAX roundabout at Waterloo, is a historic Grade II* church that reopened in October 2022 after a major restoration by Eric Parry Architects.

It is one of the most inclusive churches in London and provides the best new performance, event and meeting spaces on the South Bank, fulfilling its commitment to be here for everyone. St John’s produces a year-round programme of arts and culture, including the annual Waterloo Festival, and is co-home to the academy-orchestra Southbank Sinfonia. It also runs the award-winning churchyard garden and offers a variety of community projects such as Room for You, English Conversation Classes and the monthly Film Club.

Vicar: Can Giles Goddard
Curates: Georgia Ashwell and Grey Collier
