We are delighted to announce the 2025–26 season of the Fanny Davies International Piano Series at St James, Guernsey – three concerts and workshops showcasing internationally acclaimed pianists for the enjoyment and benefit of our community and young students.
Mark Bebbington (08 October 2025): One of the UK’s leading interpreters of British music, with over thirty acclaimed recordings to his name. He is especially associated with the music of John Ireland, who lived and worked in Guernsey as the organist of St Stephen’s Church, and has recently toured to Carnegie Hall and across Central America.
Jeneba Kanneh-Mason (04 February 2026): BBC Young Musician finalist and now an exclusive Sony Classical Artist, Jeneba made her international debut at the BBC Proms and has since appeared with major European and US orchestras. Her debut solo album was released this year to great acclaim.
Victor Lim (24 June 2026): South Korean-British pianist, praised for his “great possibilities of nuance and perfect flexibility” (Revista Arta). Winner of the 2021 RNCM Gold Medal, Victor balances a flourishing international career with his teaching roles at the University of Manchester, RNCM, and Rossall School.
Concerts begin at 19:00: tickets £10 for adults and free for Under 18s.
Workshops run from 16:00–17:15 and are free to observe – all are welcome and there’s no need to purchase a ticket.
