Sony ES-1

Compact Electronic Screwdriver

Umeå Institute of Design, 2021
Project duration: 5 weeks

This is a short project focused on working with the complexities of product development and construction. An existing electronic screwdriver’s components were the starting point for a new design, based on the form language of a brand of choice. Design and engineering were employed in tandem to deliver a technically feasible design.
