Note: your location information is only shared with people that you allow it to be shared with. So a parent and a child can share their respective location information. Your location information is not shared with any third parties. Continued use of GPS running in the background might decrease battery life. When using the app for its GPS tracking purpose in a vehicle consider plugging the device into a power outlet. Precautions in the app have been taken to minimize GPS signal detection by turning GPS signal on only when it is required.
