This application calculates the value of the capacitor and the inductor of a switching step-down regulator from the input voltage, the output voltage, the frequency of operation, the output current and the final capacitor ESR. Furthermore, calculates the resistive voltage divider to set the output voltage related to reference voltage. The diode, transistor and inductor average currents are calculated too.
