Accelerating regenerative medicine research for the benefit of all
The Stem Cell Network (SCN) is a national not-for-profit that supports four main objectives: funding stem cell and regenerative medicine (RM) research; training the next generation of highly qualified personnel; enabling knowledge mobilization of research; and enhancing the commercialization readiness of stem cell and RM innovations.
SCN’s national research funding competition supports world-class, translational, regenerative medicine research, across the research continuum, to facilitate health, social and economic benefits for Canadians.
Training is a core component of Stem Cell Network’s mandate, and over the last 25 years SCN has provided training opportunities to more than 7,900 highly qualified personnel (HQP).
For 25 years, the Stem Cell Network has made strategic investments in stem cell and regenerative medicine research, helping to position Canada as a global leader in the field.
