Hi.  This the blog from Stefaan Vande Walle.  After my Masters Studies in Geography in Leuven and Physical Planning in Nijmegen, I started my career in the GIS and mobility sector. Gradually, I became passionate about education, teaching in secondary education and adult education in Flanders, Belgium.  Since 2008, I’ve been working for VVOB – education for development, a leading international development organisation, specialized in supporting education systems through capacity development and technical advice. I worked 5,5 years in Cambodia and 3 years in South Africa.  Currently, I’m working in Rwanda.  In 2012, I completed a Masters’ Degree in Online and Distance Education at the UK Open University.  I’m interested in education systems, international relations, development economics, STEM and online learning.
