By day I'm the CTO responsible for architecture and development of an international Digital Health SaaS company. Customers in 40+ countries use the platform. As a freelancer I build everything local clients need: from business cards to web applications.

As a speaker at international conferences (Laracon Amsterdam & Lisbon) and trainer for digital security I bring knowledge directly to people: in schools, associations and public authorities.

Trust is not a one-way street

I give everything for your project. In return I expect your trust. Trust in my experience, my judgement and my process. If you are looking for someone who just says yes, I am not the right person.

Bring me the problem, not the solution

You would not go to a doctor and tell them which medication to prescribe. Tell me what you want to achieve. I will find the best way to get there.

AI is a tool. Not a replacement.

Yes, I use AI where it makes sense. But "ChatGPT told me so" is not a brief. AI does not replace 25 years of professional experience or a feel for design.

Quality sometimes takes patience

I work fast, but not sloppy. If something needs more time, I will tell you openly. My goal is for you to be happy with the result long-term.

I think ahead. Even when you do not ask.

You hire me for a website and I notice your logo is outdated? I will tell you. I am not a contractor who just ticks boxes.

I choose my clients

I have a full-time job that I love. I do freelance work because I enjoy it. My time is limited and valuable. I only take on projects where the chemistry is right. If we work together, we do it properly.

My own SaaS product, built entirely solo. Uptime monitoring for websites and APIs, 40,000+ websites monitored, customers in 40+ countries. Sold in January 2025 to a Dutch company.
