Writer's Block: Tobacco road [14 May 2011|06:05pm]
Would you want your city to outlaw smoking on public streets? Why or why not?

Yes. You don't need a reason other than it should be illegal to emit poison in public.

Writer's Block: Put it all together, it spells Mother [09 May 2011|06:20pm]
What's the most important lesson your mom taught you?

Look out for number one, because nobody else (family excluded) will.

Writer's Block: Available: 3 bedroom, 2 bath, with hot and cold running chills [21 Apr 2011|10:20pm]
Would you live in the perfect house or apartment rent-free if you found out a brutal murder had taken place there and it was rumored to be haunted? Why or why not?

Depends on the murder. If the circumstances surrounding the murder indicated that it was likely to increase my chances of being murdered (ie it's a very violent area and there's lots of brutal murders), then no.

Otherwise, yes. I don't believe in the supernatural.

Writer's Block: Following the leader [22 Feb 2011|08:56am]
Let's say you're running for president, and you win by a mudslide. What would you change about your country and why? Would you make new laws? Paint the White House blue? Tell all!

I'd probably look at some sort of financial aid for the victims of that mudslide. :P

Isn't the phrase "win by a landslide"?

Is there a specific song or band that makes you yearn for the past?

Writer's Block: Fly me to the moon [15 Oct 2010|11:43am]
Do you think space exploration is important? Is it worth the billions our governments spend?

Yes, definitely worth it. It's a long-term investment, but the payoff is the universe.

Writer's Block: Acquired taste [22 Jun 2010|04:57pm]
What is your favorite weird food combination? Have your friends ever tried it or do you only eat it in private?

Dhal on toast. Om nom nom. I don't share so I don't know how anyone could have tried it. I eat it for breakfast in my house which is private enough.

Writer's Block: Rescue mission [18 Jun 2010|11:01am]
If someone intentionally set fire to your home and you had ten minutes to get out, would you try to save the arsonist or your belongings?

I really don't like the idea of my house getting burned down, it's a pretty big fear. I'm probably try to put the fire out, fuck everything else.

Writer's Block: Oh no not I [06 Jun 2010|10:55am]
How do you recover from a bad break-up? The proverbial pint of ice cream? Quality time alone? Going out with friends? What are your personal healing strategies?

I cry a shitload, read lots and lots of books, talk endlessly about it, move all photos and chatlogs to a zip file and hide that zip file, delete their messages and their number, catch up on the tv shows I was watching before the breakup, purge the person from my sims game, and surround myself with people who want to bang me.

Hmm... now what?

Writer's Block: Light reading [31 May 2010|11:14pm]
Some books are inspirational. Others are intellectually stimulating or emotionally comforting. Then there are those juicy, mindless reads that are only good for a plane ride or the beach. Which books or authors fall under this last category?

Marianne Keyes. Chick lit is perfect for plane rides, beaches, propping up tables...
