[Ashgiaddhfudsi he was careful to tire himself out and go to bed early yesterday so he actually woke up pretty early today AND YOU WERE GONE.

Well he knows you wouldn't just leave you're probably preparing something, but still...
So he's made breakfast, tidied himself up, and is now sitting at the table messing with the small package in his hands]

[He's stayed out of trouble as promised, but some time later Snowflake starts suddenly calling out and pawing at him]

[You probably noticed Snowflake being really wary and fidgety these last days. Well so did he. And since all his soothing didn't help, he's really started to think that something is up.

And then stuff blew up on the volcano.

He's just outside the house, staring at the mess in the distance--fists clenched]

[You know how Gold is generally being an idiot/a dork/something else along those lines in the evening, if he's not out to train?
Well today he's not. He's being pretty somber and slightly absent, and from the state he's in, training is what he's been doing all day until he walked in.
Absently trying to cook something is go?]

[Well you know what Gold does when he has stuff to think about?

Today is poffin day, man. And there's a huge stash of berries on his table]

[Guess what, guys. Gold hates being stuck in bed. Hates. If he could, he'd be outside, nagging friend and housemate or no. But apparently his body has decided it's had enough abuse over time and is forcing him to really stay down this time, mostly because his head swims when he tries and his legs can't hold him, courtesy of earthquake and massive bruises.
It'll only be a couple of days before he forces it into submission, really. But in the meantime? He's pissed and frustrated.

[Well, it's probably been some time since Gold was left on the ground in the middle of Aurora Forest, because he's unconscious and has lost quite a bit of blood. Thankfully it comes from a flurry of superficial cuts rather than from one big one, but it's still enough to worry the tiny spider nuzzling into his neck.]
