Reliable. Safe. Efficient.
For large energy requirements, the 20 ft container offers a scalable solution with a nominal storage capacity of 1,979 kWh per container, and an output of 405 kW.
STABL Energy wins the pv magazine Award 2025 in the BESS category. Our innovative approach for the commercial and industrial sector with a modular multi-level converter (MMC) that breathes new life into used batteries impressed the jury across the board. This is a strong endorsement of our technology, which solves real challenges in the energy sector – reliably, scalably and resource-efficiently.
Our AC-coupled battery energy storage system (BESS) in an air-conditioned 20' container offers exceptional flexibility and performance. With scalability that can be expanded as required, our system is suitable for a wide range of applications, including peak shaving, self-consumption optimization and flexibility marketing. Thanks to a modular architecture and a high round trip efficiency of 94.6 %, we guarantee a reliable and economical solution for your energy storage. Depending on the system configuration, the output is up to 405 kW with a nominal energy content of up to 1,979 kWh.
Our 20-foot container storage solution is not only powerful, but also extremely safe. Equipped with a 4-stage safety concept, fire and gas detection system and an explosion protection mechanism, we offer comprehensive protection for your energy storage applications. In addition, we guarantee an exceptional life span: the battery comes with a performance guarantee of 10 years or 5,000 cycles with 75% residual capacity, which can optionally be extended to up to 15 years or 10,000 cycles with 80% residual capacity. Our systems comply with all relevant standards and directives, including VDE and IEC, and are suitable for operation at ambient temperatures from -20 to +40 °C.
