SSPConfig 1.0

SSPConfig by Conexant Systems is a configuration and tuning utility for Conexant audio and voice-processing chipsets. It provides a unified interface to set up devices that expose an SSP (Serial/Synchronous Sound Port, such as I2S/PCM), manage signal routing and clocking, adjust codec parameters, and apply audio-processing profiles. Designed for use from lab bring-up through production, SSPConfig helps engineers and integrators shorten setup time and achieve consistent, high-quality audio performance.

Key capabilities include:

• Device discovery and connection to supported Conexant hardware and development kits
• Configuration of SSP/I2S/PCM interfaces, signal paths, and clock settings
• Adjustment of microphone, speaker, gain, and EQ parameters
• Enabling and tuning of processing features—such as echo cancellation, noise reduction, and beamforming—where supported
• Firmware update, logging, real-time monitoring, and exporting/importing configuration profiles
