Society for Relief & Development is a non-profit, non-government organization registered under the Societies Act 1860 Lahore Pakistan. SRD exists to help the most vulnerable among us the ones suffering from poverty, social injustice, natural calamities, discrimination, and a lack of basic human rights. We believe providing opportunities to children, women, and the youth through different need-based interventions will bring a lasting impact on their lives and their communities.

Our long journey started as a dream in the eyes of a lone development worker, Yasmine Joseph. After spending years in the development sector, she saw a need for NGOs to evolve. Thus, SRD came into existence, as a women-led organization that takes a holistic approach to community upliftment.
The early years were tough, it was not easy for a fledging organization to make an impact in the world. However, with a strong mindset and a hard-working staff, SRD started to grow and attain new heights. Today, we are one of the most prolific NGOs in Pakistan working to provide development opportunities for all.
