Helicopter Rescue Training

Our most popular course offering, we tailor our human external cargo (HEC) training to your agency’s operations and needs. Training options include initial and advanced instruction in day, night, and NVG land and water hoist, short haul, rappel and confined area operations.

Aerial Firefighting Training

Pilots and ground crews learn and build upon vital vertical reference aerial firefighting skills for precision drops with either long line or belly tank equipment.

Utility Helicopter Operations Training

With our specialized background in hoist and external human cargo (HEC) operations, we strengthen pilot, hoist operator, and ground support crew skills in powerline HEC, marine pilot transfer, wind turbine HEC, and other high risk utility operations.

TACTICAL Medical Training

Our Tactical Medical Training course provides key lifesaving field operations skills. We also provide on-site helicopter underwater escape training (HUET), complete with our cockpit frame and safety instructors.

Law Enforcement Training

SR3’s deep expertise in law enforcement and military special operations helps us provide comprehensive helicopter special mission training including fast rope insertion, tactical rappel, K9 ops, SPIE, aerial use of force, tactical insertion/extraction, and more.

HELICOPTER UNDERWATER ESCAPE

This course is for all helicopter pilots and crews, teaching life-saving skills and techniques for escaping a helicopter that crash landed in the water.

HELICOPTER NVG PILOT

SR3 provides ab initio and recurrent pilot training for the FAA night vision goggle (NVG) pilot in command (PIC) endorsement.

Pilot Instruction

While we automatically provide pilot instruction in all our courses, we can also deliver pilot-only training covering many comprehensive skills, including initial and recurrent night vision goggle (NVG) pilot-in-command (PIC) training, hoist, rappel, short haul, aerial firefighting vertical reference operations, HEC, and more.
