I have to be very very very careful about the intentions I speak. For example, I said, "By Labor Day, [this thing] will come to pass . . . " I just found out this morning that [this thing] I spoke has indeed come to pass, and it is not a nice thing for someone who crossed me. This used to happen a lot more when I was younger, and I have recently become careless with it.
Still kinda cool, though. ; )

Having just talked another client down from that proverbial, yet metaphoric, ledge, I have decided I need a vacation. Considering fundage, however, I'm just going to be grateful that I do have some paid time saved, and just take a week in August to recharge the batteries. They are running very very low. No matter how much sleep I get, I want more, can't quite seem to reach satisfaction.
And I do find that vacations Chez Suze are very energizing. There's always movies to watch, kitties to nap with, and currently tons of knitting to be done (there will soon be babies EVERYWHERE around me, which = lots of knitting). Who knows? Maybe even some wandering around Hampden?
It sounds so loverly. Perhaps I'll start right now . . .

Leaving a Section 8 hearing today, I had a vision of going into private practice and making commercials.
"When landlords act up, call Miss Susan."
Yes, my clients call me Miss Susan. This should go well with the "Who's Your Lawyer?" business cards I wanted when I got out of law school.

This past week, between the CCT show and the Gogol show last night, it occurs to me how much dance has brought to my life in the past 3 years. I have so many friends I didn't have before, and who I now really cannot imagine being without. That's really the best part . . . except for the costuming, that is.

How I entertained myself today: "American Pimp" -- really fascinating documentary, will probably have to watch again. "Ice Road Truckers" on the History Channel -- those guys are insane, and I don't even want to think about how much money they probably make. And now back to "Rescue Me" -- my birthday present from
EDIT: And how could I have forgotten?? "Drag Me to Hell" = one of the best/funniest horror movies I've seen in the past 5 or so years. I'm pretty sure Sam Raimi bribed many, many people to get a PG-13, though.
