EMPLOYMENT
Program Director
The Springfield Area Arts Council seeks a highly organized and motivated individual to lead the planning and execution of its major programs and events, including the Levitt AMP Springfield Music Series. Please review the full job description in the document above for further details.
WHAT WE ARE OFFERING
Salary: $39,000
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for a monthly health insurance stipend, employer contributed SEP-IRA, and other benefits. PTO, including vacation time, paid holidays, and sick leave, is available to all full-time employees.

Summer Intern
Through the Youth Employment in the Arts program, individuals aged 16 – 22 are invited to apply to be one of the Springfield Area Arts Council’s summer interns, who will gain experience in program management and office administration in the nonprofit sector. Working hours are 10.5 hours per week for 10 weeks.

Stipend: $1,596
Parking space is provided.

JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Springfield Area Arts Council Board of Directors is a group of passionate members who are actively engaged in carrying out SAAC’s mission to enrich the community through the arts.
Directors serve two year terms and are expected to attend monthly Board meetings, participate in fundraising activities, and are encouraged to attend as many SAAC events as possible. Membership is not required to apply; but one must be a member to serve on the Board or a committee.

BECOME A GRANT PANELIST
Grant panelists play a critical role in the grant-making process. We seek a diverse community of panelists from Sangamon and Menard counties with a wide-range of experience in the artistic, cultural, and social fields. If selected as a panelists, you will work independently and with other panelists to evaluate grant applications to ensure an equitable, honest, and thorough review and ranking process.
