Kind of dead around here, don't you think? Not to deter anyone from posting here, but is there anywhere on the web you're getting your "spookystyle" fix at? Any good tumblrs or pintrest boards I should know about?
I started this "gothic garden" board on Pintrest, not that it's anything fancy:

So our favorite holiday has come & gone! I do not totally hate Xmas though because I goth it up!
I also make & sell goth Xmas items at my Etsy shop. I make wreaths, goth greeting cards, even ornaments!
Also if you make spooky Xmas stuff please comment because I love buying from other artists!

| I'm Planning A Halloween Wedding! |

My boyfriend, Dagon, proposed to me on Halloween this year! We're getting married next Halloween. We're planning a smallish, probably less than 30 people attending, wedding for next October. It will be Halloween/Gothic/Fall themed, with a few other themes added in. Eclectic wedding. It will have a lot of D.I.Y. decorations/details. The guest will be asked to either come in costume or nice/formal type black clothes.
My betrothed is a horror-artist & taxidermist. He made my engagement ring. You can't tell in the photo, gotta take better photos of the ring, but the eyes sparkle so pretty.

If you know of any good online wedding resources let me know. I've only been to like 5 weddings and they were all very small and most were informal. I haven't planned anything like this before or been to anything like what I'm planning either. Also if you know of any online stores that have nice Gothic or Victorian or Medieval style dresses in plus-sizes let me know.

| Halloween 2010 |

I was so swamped with orders this year that I kept a low profile this yr for Halloween. Next yr I must shut down the store so this does not happen again.
We did enjoy Trick or Treat at the house. As usual we went mad with the decorations and scared the kids. I took some videos of our set up too!

I carved out some time for gothic nesting. I'm at the expensive part however where furniture needs to be purchased. In the meantime, stuff is still getting thrown out. I'm an artist, and that means quite a few half-done-but-still-hung-on-to projects.
As far as actual decorating, I'm thinking of going room by room. Or should I go problem by problem? I think with room by room, there is a risk of the Masque of the Red Death syndrome...everything looking too different. No, my husband does not have a blue beard. :P
