Spookathon Code of Conduct

1. Our Spirit: Spookathon is a space for creativity, collaboration, and chills—in the best way possible. We're here to learn, build, and have fun while respecting everyone involved.

2. Expected Behavior: Be kind and respectful. Treat everyone—participants, mentors, judges, and staff—with courtesy. Collaborate, don't compete. It's about learning and creativity, not cutting corners. Stay original. Credit your teammates and sources. No plagiarism or idea theft. Keep it inclusive. All backgrounds, skill levels, and identities are welcome here. Embrace the theme. Get spooky, but stay appropriate.

3. Unacceptable Behavior: Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind. Sharing or displaying offensive, gory, or explicit content. Sabotaging other teams' work or violating event rules. Disruptive, unsafe, or intentionally disrespectful conduct.

4. Reporting: If something feels off or unsafe, tell an organizer immediately. You can report in person at the front desk. We'll take every report seriously and act promptly.

5. Consequences: Organizers may take action ranging from a warning to removal from the event without refund or prize eligibility.
