Configuring Widgets
Spexo Addons lets you enable only the widgets you plan to use. This keeps frontend assets lighter on real pages. You will configure widgets from the WordPress dashboard in Widget Settings. Use this guide to set a clean widget stack before you build pages in Elementor.
If you are new to setup first review the Getting Started documentation.
Enable or Disable Individual Widgets #
Open your WordPress dashboard and go to Spexo Addons then Widget Settings. Open the Widget Settings tab. You will see the full widget list. Use the toggle for each widget based on what your project needs.
Turn off widgets you do not use on this site. This reduces the assets that load on the frontend. It also keeps Elementor search results cleaner. After changes open a page and confirm the widget list updates in the editor.
Use Global Control to Toggle All Widgets #
Global Control lets you enable all widgets or disable all widgets in one action. Use this when you are testing on a staging site. Use it when you are doing a full reset. Avoid enabling everything on a live site unless you really need it.
After using Global Control go back and disable what you do not need. This keeps your setup focused. It also reduces frontend asset load. If you are building a store focus on widgets listed in WooCommerce Elements documentation.
Disable Unused Widgets in One Click #
This option disables widgets that are not active in your current setup. It is useful when your widget list has grown over time. Click Disable Unused Widgets and wait for the process to finish. After it completes only active widgets remain enabled.
Run this on staging first if possible. Then test key pages in Elementor and on the frontend. If a widget disappears that you still need re enable it from Widget Settings. For speed checks follow the steps in the Optimization Guide.
After you finish widget configuration open a few pages and test in Elementor. Check mobile view and frontend output. If you face errors review the Troubleshooting documentation. If you still need help contact support from the support portal.
