Dragons Abreast Australia is a national organisation that helps individuals , post breast cancer treatment, transition from patient back into full and active life despite breast cancer. I've entered this festival that is taking place on the 30th of October, in support of all my friends and family that have either faced (or know someone) that has faced breast cancer.

I've been asking for donations, through work, friends and family and thought, well it wouldn't hurt to ask the fabulous people that I love and care for, dearly, who are so very far away, for just a little help.

It doesn't have to be a large donation (and all are in $AUD). But if you've had friends or family who have or are living with breast cancer, I believe that you'd understand.

Hehe!! The Winter Magic Festival in Katoomba was really fun!! I really liked it. It was effing FREEZING in Katoomba, but that's normal, lol. Pic above is a self-portrait of me with Chips on a stick. Delicious!!!! And follow the cut for random (yet chronological) pics of the Winter Magic Parade. So fun!! There was stalls and shops and FOOD!!!!!!!!!! And I bought the 'Tree Of Life Ring' that I've been wanting for AGES. (Mine is actually different, slightly, but better.)

I expected to be heart-broken after the finale and I feel that, perhaps that's yet to come. I suppose I'm not heartbroken yet, because it doesn't feel like it's over. The real heartbreak is bound to set in next Sunday when I'm sitting at my neice's Birthday party, knowing that there will be no Seeker waiting for me when I get home. I'm enraged, I know, because I feel so utterly useless in the grand scheme of things. We fight and we struggle for the right to keep something that is strong and bold and beautifully, inherently good and it bothers me that they feel it can even be measured in terms of ratings, costs, budgets? But it is so much more than that.

So I've done a fairly sizable friend's cut. I didn't break the list down as much as I'd intended. I really want to get my friendslist down smaller, but it's so hard because I pass over every name and wonder if we'll talk again soon. (I'm so bad at this.) But of course, if you think i've cut your in error or if you know for a fact that I was thinking with my ass and cut you by accident, just let me know and I'll put you back on. There is no hard feelings here, I'm just tidying my friends list up because i'm wanting my journal to be so much more private these days.
