The Special Forces Foundation’s programs are designed to address the unique needs of the Special Forces community. Our five-tier program enterprise is the backbone of our belief that Green Berets deserve the same world-class support outside the military as they receive in training & on the battlefield. Today’s world is a safer place thanks to Green Berets & the Special Forces community, but this safety comes with significant sacrifices from these warriors & their families.

The Stark Reality

20%

20% of veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan suffer from major depression, anxiety disorders, & PTSD.

Care Gap

Long VA wait times, fear of professional consequences, & a shortage of qualified therapists keep many veterans from getting help when they need it most.

25%

Roughly 25% live with mental health issues that can lead to suicide, addiction, homelessness, domestic violence, or incarceration.

Behind every deployment are invisible wounds & heavy burdens that don’t end when the mission does. These numbers represent the reality too many veterans & families are living with right now. The Special Forces Foundation recognizes this gap in veteran treatment. We continuously advance, evaluate, & refine our program offerings to support the Special Forces community & their families as they accomplish their missions abroad & at home.

Our Program Pillars

Each pillar targets a critical area of need – from crisis response & mental health support to remembrance, family care, & long-term healing. Click a program to explore how we serve the community in depth.
