  1. Hey – saw your tweet re: non binary roles. Since this was too long for a tweet reply I decided to pop this here 🙂

Here is a list of a few videos a group of us used when facilitating a decision with PST about this topic.

Groups started by developing talking points (we used the protocol process of talking points) about a video that they were given, and then brought those discussion Qs to the class…

    Video Clips:
-Simpsons Gender Differences (Boys math class vs Girls math class) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64PKoAiWhjE
    – Always- Like a girl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjJQBjWYDTs
    – Equal- Wealth simple (boys vs. girls bball) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It5WjS380e0
    – A Class That Turned Around Kids https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3Aweo-74kY
    – Girls Toys vs. Boy Toys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWu44AqF0iI
    – Equal Pay – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snUE2jm_nFA

    Hopefully the links still work.

One of the most animated discussion prompts we had was whether or not HS courses like “shop/woodworking” and “home ec” should be offered at the same time as each other. Does that have implicit expectations of gender built in?

Another site that might be helpful is trans101.org.au. This Australian site has some great videos to open discussions.

Sounds like a great project! I’m bookmarking your original tweet. So many great resources listed!

    Have a great day!

    • WOW! This is incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for coming here to add these resources. I’m curating a Google Doc and hope to share on the original tweet thread because you’re right, so many great resources were shared there. Thanks again.
