You can sponsor candidates to attend our live instructor-led certification courses. Each batch of our live training courses has two free seats reserved for scholarships. We receive a large number of applications for those spots. Sponsors make it possible for us to say yes to more of them.
Most of our sponsors are Spatial Thoughts alumni who got value from their training and want to pass that forward. Others are GIS professionals, academics, and organizations who believe geospatial skills should be more accessible.

- Access to certification and mentorship. While many motivated individuals gain skills through our free learning resources, early-career professionals need certification to secure their first job or make a career shift. A sponsorship allows them to also gain access to our support network.

How it works
① You sponsor a seat
Your contribution covers the full course fee – and the certification cost – for one scholar.
② We select the candidate
From our scholarship applicant pool, we select someone with the background to benefit from the course and the motivation to use it. Preference goes to community contributors who will pass the knowledge on.
③ We keep you in the loop
You’ll get a brief update after the course – who your sponsorship helped and where they’re headed.
