This story was supposed to be just sheer fun and fluff - but it became so much more than that. It became a huge emotional undertaking.

The Acts:

+ Ties. The character could be wearing a suit, or they could be naked and randomly wearing a tie, I don't care. I love people who are comfortable wearing them, and people that are forced into them for big events. Just the idea of grabbing someone by their tie and hauling them close gets me all tingly.
+ Desperation. Whether it's because they're a character that just really wants some sex, or if it's because they've been hit by sex-pollen and all they want is sex omgnownownow.
+ Robots/Computers/Artificial Intelligence. Whether they have a humanoid body, or they're a giant transforming car, or a computer worked through a whole building, the idea is about a created intelligence getting it on with humans.
+ Genderbending. The sort of idea I like is "Character A gets their gender switched, somehow, and decides to enjoy."
+ Wings. Huge wings used for both flight and pulling their lover close.

So I've mentioned this a few places before, but I'm working on something I'm calling The Journey Series. This is partially because every fic in the series is titled after a Journey song, and partially because the series is really more about the journey than the destination. Essentially, this story is my 2012 baby.

Anyway, what this series boils down to is a massive Transformers crossover story. I am basically crossing Transformers over with a huge pile of fandoms. It's all part of the same story, but for the most part, the first good half dozen or so stories in the timeline will all basically be standalones, and can be read without reading all the other ones, as well. I've posted one in the series already - Wheel in the Sky.

So far, the fandoms that are getting crossed into this monstrosity will be:

-Buffy the Vampire Slayer
-The Fast & The Furious
-Indiana Jones
-Die Hard
-Gone in 60 Seconds
-Supernatural
-The Covenant

My problem is that I really feel like there should be more to really flesh out the "storyline", but I'm trying desperately to think of fandoms that are about equally about the cars as they are about the characters, and I'm drawing a huge blank, for some reason. I feel sort of like I've used up all my thinking.

Any chance anyone out there knows car-heavy fandoms that I'm just not thinking of?

Favourite thing I've written this year: That was a bit of a hard choice, at first, but my real labour of love this year is the AU that has gotten me writing more than anything I've ever written in years, and gotten the most favourable response from readers. And it just plain makes me happy.

Summary: Xander Harris has no idea that he is adopted. But in the span of a week, he not only finds out that his parents aren't his birth parents, manages to get put into "protective house arrest" by his friends (and he's not even really sure why), and gets sent into space, where he literally lands on the head of the most wanted convict in the verse. Exploring space with a criminal sounds like a terrifying idea, especially as things start getting stranger and he starts to think even more and more that his birth parents might not have been human.

Smallest I own are Pukis, which are 11cm tall. I love them, they're so teeny tiny poseable!

6) Biggest size you own?

The biggest size I own is SD, so 61cm tall. Technically, Hermione here is 60.5cm, so not quite the tallest, but she has massive boobs and a booty to die for, so she represents the "biggest" quite well!

5) What/who was the very first BJD you saw?

The first BJD I ever saw in a photo was a Volks C head, and I so wanted one. The first SD I ever saw in person was an Abio Angel Yi, and the first mini I ever saw was a Souldoll Apple owned by my friend Angela. It was funny, because I had seen Volks dolls on the internet for years and I desperately wanted one, so I actually had this crazy plan that I would teach in Japan so that I could buy some in Japan and take them back home. But I thought they were thousands of dollars each, so when ace_hart and I were at Anime North and we saw the Divinity Doll booth and they were selling Abio Angels for $250, we seriously moved mountains to get her one, and we spent the night playing with him and shoving toilet paper in his head to just keep his eyes in place, ha! I ordered mine from the very same place two months later. :D

4) What/who was the first BJD you ever owned? Do you still own them?

My first doll ever was Liam, my Abio Angel Er. And yeah, obviously I still own him. :D He's gone through a lot of changes since I bought him, about four different faceups, and though he started out really emo, he sort of became a redneck emo deer boy somewhere along the line. (He may get hooves someday... after all, his son grew hooves...)

But I adore this boy.
