Wilco

I had the honor of partnering with Brigitte Daniel and Wilco Electronic Systems to build a new website to support their pivot into one of the area’s premier tech integrators.

Wilco built their reputation over 40 years as one of the nation’s only black-owned cable companies before selling the cable portion of their business to Comcast in 2018. Since then they’ve reinvented themselves with the goal of helping property managers integrate technology to make buildings smart, safe, and accessible.

Since 1980, they’ve been on a mission to make technology equitable and user-focused. From underserved communities to high-end real estate projects they strive to help everyone benefit from the latest technology. They have a serious commitment to workforce development and bridging the digital divide.

They needed a website that balanced the old and the new, that positions them on the cutting edge of smart technology, but backed by their 40-year reputation as committed, creative professionals. Through a lot of iterations and hard work, I think we struck that balance.
