To be eligible to be judged for various prizes, you must comply with the prizes requirements:

Adelaide City Council Prizes

Your mission – if you choose to accept it – is to create a working app, website or mobile tool that
presents spatial information of the City of Adelaide in an innovative and user-friendly way using as
many of ACC’s geo-spatial datasets as possible. The main purpose is to provide an avenue for the
community to access information in a useful way so that it’s easier to use and explore the City.
Available datasets that are available include:

• Locations of ‘Great Buildings’
• Free City Connector Bus route plus  points of interest near each bus stop
• Adelaide City Bike Art Trail
• Public Art pieces
• Aboriginal attractions
• Park Lands, including attractions,  parks, playgrounds and assets
• What’s On calendar of events and  activities
• 3D City Model
• Traffic restrictions, including locations of road works, speed restrictions and road closures
• Adelaide City Council assets such as  street furniture, trees etc.
• UPark locations
• City bike network, including cycling  trails and bike lanes
• Bike parking facilities
• Walking and running trails
• Fitness circuits
• Sporting facilities, including ovals,  clubs and courts
• Dog parks and dog off-leash areas
• Picnic and BBQ areas
• Historical walking trails

Windows Universal App Category:

Develop an innovative and well-designed Windows App that works across the Windows device form factors and screens.

Bonus Points Criteria:

- Use Windows Universal App API's
- Use any Microsoft API's
- Quality of the cross device experience taking into account the various usage and mobility factors across devices.

Windows Azure Category:

Develop an original, innovative solution with the use of Microsoft Azure.

Bonus Points Criteria:
- Use Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service components
- Use any Microsoft API's
- Demonstrate innovation using Azure Preview features

IBM Smarter Cities Prize

- Application built on the IBM Bluemix platform and leveraging services found on the IBM
Bluemix catalogue.
- The successful application will promote the development of Adelaide as a smarter city, be delivered on the IBM Bluemix platform and use services from the IBM Bluemix catalogue in innovative ways.

You will have 1 minute to demo what you've built. Judges decisions are final. 

In order to ensure all code is written or implemented throughout the weekend, and not prepared beforehand, it is required that each team works within a git repository such as github or bitbucket.
