Sourcery CodeBench for ARM EABI is an integrated cross-development environment from CodeSourcery for building, debugging, and optimizing C and C++ software on ARM-based embedded systems that conform to the ARM EABI. It combines an Eclipse-based IDE with a mature GNU toolchain (GCC, G++, Binutils, and GDB), along with runtime libraries, startup code, and example linker scripts for both bare-metal and Linux targets. The suite supports a wide range of ARM cores (including ARM7/9, Cortex-M, Cortex-R, and Cortex-A), multiple floating-point ABIs (soft, softfp, hard), and both on-target and remote debugging via simulators and common JTAG probes. Features such as project templates, build automation, and compatibility with standard ELF/DWARF formats help teams produce EABI-compliant binaries and streamline the entire edit-build-debug cycle for embedded applications. Commercial editions add further optimizations and professional support.

Sourcery CodeBench for ARM EABI is developed by CodeSourcery. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 2011.3 and 2012.3.
