WinTVCap_GUI is a graphical user interface for any command line accepting recording application. It's able to record direct or record scheduled programs. It has special build in support for WinTVCap and GBRecord, so it's possible to get LiveTV with it.
SimplePVR is it's counterpart for the Linux platform for DVB scheduled recordings.
