Personally I could not get it to work the way it is supposed to, nonetheless I was able to get it to work by just inserting [wave id="googlewave.com!w+-fKgEYMeA"] into the post then added some formatting options. When I click on the Google Wave MCE Icon it just brings up the edit box with a bunch of hash marks. I don't know maybe it is just my hosting or something tho. I host wordpress on my own and use Google Wave Preview.
