Introduction

The SOSE Hackathon 2025 is a beginner friendly, student run hackathon focused on social good. Over the course of the event, participants will brainstorm, design, and build innovative projects that make a positive impact on communities. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coder, this hackathon is your chance to learn new skills, collaborate with peers, and build something meaningful.

Tools and Technologies

You can use any programming language, framework, or platform that fits your project. Common tools include:

  • Frontend: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, Vue, or Angular

  • Backend: Node.js, Flask, Django, Express

  • Mobile: React Native, Swift, Flutter

  • Databases: Firebase, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL

  • APIs & Cloud: Google Cloud, AWS, Vercel, Azure

  • AI/ML: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face APIs

  • Collaboration & DevOps: GitHub, GitLab, Discord bots, Docker

💡 Tip: Start simple with tools you already know, and scale up with advanced tech if time allows.

  • 🤖 Hack for SOSE → Build tools for our community, like Discord bots, project-matching platforms, or event hubs.
