Здравствуйте!
WHO: Ivan and Ludwig (And anyone else who can knock politely after consulting us both, I'm sure)
TONE: Generally lighthearted with an air of frustration lingering about
RATING: G-PG (Despite the icon's implications. XD)
WHEN: Saturday, September 24; evening
WHERE: Ivan's office
WHAT: General practicing of Russian so Ludwig doesn't lose the language, over good old-fashioned foodstuffs from the motherland. Ivan skipped dinner, this is why. Things take all day to cook. (That, and the current singing curse has led him to avoid all manner of conversation anyway.)
There will be discussion of various wandering topics as these unlikely two try and have a normal conversation, with some minor corrections of grammar here and there. Eavesdroppers had best know Russian if they plan on understanding what is going on. Also, the current event is bound to make this turn into some sort of comical duet.
STATUS: Ongoing
Ivan had spent the day holed up in his office and cooking. It was convienent, this meeting time, if only because the vague desire for Russian food had been expressed - as the dishes took hours and hours to prepare, Ivan had for himself the wonderful excuse for not venturing out, hearing the dischord of everyone singing everywhere, and having to join in himself, should he want to communicate.
The sooner this curse was lifted, the better.
But, that was neither here nor there, as he was expecting a guest sooner, rather than later, by now. A guest who, excitingly enough, desired to speak in Russian, at length. It had been entirely too long - the day which he visited his cousin's family for her birthday notwithstanding - and this was to be a regular occurence, if he understood their exchange? Ivan felt a bit childish for being excited by the notion, but... well, there was only so much Engilsh he could take.
